Meet Tom

Tom founded Suremploy in 2000 after opening and operating several private physiotherapy clinics in NSW. He completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy and Graduate Diploma in Sport and Exercise Science from Sydney University. He has worked as a clinical physiotherapist for many years and gradually transitioned to an occupational health focus. He has taught at the tertiary level and published in the American Journal of Sports Medicine and elsewhere.

During my time as a physiotherapist, I realized the need for better pre-employment screening tools to prevent workplace injuries. I began developing these tools, but initially, they didn’t work as well as I had hoped. Unwilling to give up, my team and I spent more than a decade refining and perfecting a unique data-driven model that delivers outstanding results.

Our hard work and dedication have helped Suremploy become a leader in pre-employment screening, assisting companies throughout Australia and New Zealand in reducing workplace injuries and saving money. My passion for this work has inspired many others in this industry, and Suremploy continues to grow and innovate under my guidance. I’m proud to have been recognized in 2022 and 2023 with the prestigious Telstra Best of Business Awards.
